I have organized the working group, and <br /> meetings are set to begin soon; thus, the working group will need a few months to <br /> develop recommendations specific to the future of Mauna Kea. <br /> On behalf of the working group, I ask that the Draft Environmental Impact <br /> Statement (EIS) incorporate the working group's recommendations as additional <br /> alternatives to those identified in the EISPN. Please do not issue the Draft EIS until <br /> these recommendations have been presented.
