During your <br />tenure as a commissioner, you have been steadfast in your commitment to advising the <br />County in its efforts to be a responsible steward of the environment. As today is your <br />last meeting as a commissioner, I wanted to thank you for taking on the tasks required <br />of the Environmental Management Commission for the past four years. <br />Your consistent advocacy and untiring voice on the Commission are deeply <br />appreciated by Director Kucharski and me. As a commissioner, you provided inspiring <br />community leadership by organizing and executing numerous beach clean-up events. <br />Not only are our beaches cleaner and safer through your untiring efforts, but you have <br />also engaged our youth to participate and in so doing inspired a stewardship ethic that <br />will serve Hawaii for decades to come. <br />I want to personally thank you for your service to the people of the County of <br />Hawaii.
