<br />Member Punahele would like to provide the <br />committee an update of her discussions with the <br />Kona Chief of Police regarding their intervention <br />and violation remediation program for violators of <br />parking stalls designated for persons with <br />disabilities. <br /> <br />5. Committee members would like to ask that the <br />Committee budget be included as a reported item <br />on the agenda. <br /> <br /> <br />Announcements 1. Resignation of Jean Hartley <br /> <br />Chair Shirachi informed the Committee about <br />Jean Hartley’s resignation and said that a formal <br />letter had been sent to the Mayor’s office <br />notifying him of her resignation, and of the <br />request for a appointment of another Kona <br />representative to the committee. <br /> <br />Committee Member Nagasawa asked how many <br />members are required for the committee. Deputy <br />Counsel Hull said that it depends on the Mayor. <br />Most Committees usually prefer one member <br />from each district around the Island. <br /> <br />2. Community Events <br /> <br />Chair Shirachi announced that there is free tax <br />return preparations are still going on at 1990 <br />Kinoole St. <br /> <br />Chair Shirachi also mentioned an event called <br />Community of HEI Workshop series which is <br />th <br />happening on April 13 (See attachment). <br /> <br />nd <br />The next watermarkmeeting will be on the 2 County Committee Clerk Koga <br />Next Meeting <br />Wednesday in the month of April – April 11, will see if poly-com will be <br />2018. available on April 11. If it is not <br />available, the alternate meeting <br />site will be at the Hilo Aging and <br />Disability Resource Center. <br />Meeting was adjourned at 12:30 pm.
