Items Details <br />,7 Code Item Qty Unit Brand <br />Confidential document shredding services of Corporation Counsel <br />documents (all paper), in December 2017, in accordance with HRS - <br />Chapter 487R and County's policy on the destruction of personal <br />Estimated at (25) bankers boxes, weighing approximately 25-30 lbs. <br />Final quantity may be adjusted accordingly (using the same unit price), <br />depending if there are more (or less) boxes. <br />On-site document shredding preferred (but will consider off-site as <br />well), on a scheduled day to be confirmed between the vendor and <br />department. Vendor will need to specifV whether on-site or off- <br />site. Vendor will be responsible for moving the boxes themselves (an <br />elevator is available). <br />a. All materials shall be collected as is, and as boxed by the department. <br />There is no requirement for removing staples, paper clips, etc. <br />days of contact by the department. All materials shall then be shredded <br />within (24) hours of being received. <br />c. A receipt shall be given at the time of pick up by the vendor. A <br />"Certificate of Destruction" shall be mailed/emailed/faxed to the <br />department within two (2) working days of material destruction. <br />d. At a minimum, the following license(s) will be required: AAA certified <br />by the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID). <br />e. Besides the insurance requirement, vendor must provide security <br />bonding for employees who will participate in the shredding of <br />f. Total should be inclusive of tax and any other charges (such as fuel <br />surcharge). Tax, if applicable, shall not exceed 4.166%. <br />g.
