Summary hobjectives and outcomes identfied in the PIan Needs Assessment <br />Overview <br />The foLIowng summary consohdates the goals and prorities and gives an overvew of the Countys <br />plans. <br />They are summarized as follows: <br />GOALS <br />The County ofHawaii isutilizing the HUD "Logic Mmde[tndevelop its 2U15through 2Ol9CP. The <br />model outlines the CDBG, HOME, and HTF activities the County will COMPLETE between 2015 and <br />20I9. These include: <br />Housing Goals <br />Provide Tenant-BaseRent Assistance to 100 households, <br />Construct 2 new affordable rental units for extremely low, ow and moderate income <br />households, <br />Construct 30 affordabte rental units for tow incorne eIdery persons, <br />RehabHtate 36 affordahle rental unts for Iow income disabled and/or ederIy persons <br />Provde 25 homebuyer education and counseling sessions (one per year), <br />Construct 38 affordabe for -sale housing unts, <br />Provide oans/grants for home rehabilitation to 50 homeowners, <br />Provide effective program administration & conduct an update to the Housing Study. <br />Fair Housing Goals <br />� <br />Conduct ] fair housing traintrainng sessions for persons of Non/Lirnited-Enghsh proficiency, <br />� <br />Develop 1 video to increase awareness, <br />� Increase participation by 20 tandlords in training sessions, <br />• Create and link fair housing plan to the County's web site — target 500 hits on the vvebsite, <br />� <br />Participate in 15 State-wide meetings and coordinate events, <br />* Conduct 10 fair housing seminars isand-wide, <br />� <br />Provide technical support and disseminate information, <br />• Attend 10 training sessions on fair housing, <br />� Conduct an AnaIyss of Impediments Study, <br />� <br />Attend 3 Fair Housing training sessions. <br />Consolidated Plan <br />OMB Control No; zsns*11r(exp 06/ 30/20 <br />HAWAII COUNTY 2 <br />
