Evaluation of past performance <br />This is an evaluation of past performance that helped lead the grantee to choose its goals or <br />projects. <br />Each year, The County of Hawaii reports its progress in meeting the five-year and annual goals in the <br />Consolidated Annual Performance Evaluation Report (CAPER) The County of Hawaii has consistently <br />satisfied program mandates and expended funds in a timely manner. Furthermore, the County of <br />Hawaii has successfully targeted funds to benefit low and moderate income persons and communities <br />throughout the island. A copy of the CAPER is available in the County of Hawaii Office of Housing & <br />Community Development (OHCD) and on the County's website at http://wwwhawaiicountmovioffice- <br />of-housing/. The report states that the County has accomplished the following during the period ofJuly <br />1, 2016 to June 30, 201T <br />HOUSING AND SPECIAL NEEDS: <br />Provided 62 new households with Tenant Based Rental Assistance <br />Began construction of 30 rental units at the Mohouli Heights Senior Neighborhood Phase 11 <br />project <br />Completed 8 Self -Help homes of the Kumakua Phase 2B project in Hawi, Hawaii <br />Rehabilitated 13 lo es for the Residential Repair Program (RRP) <br />HOMELESS: <br />Completed Point in Time Count <br />Completed 23 Micro Housing Rental units for the homeless in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: <br />Completed the acquisition of the Pahoa Fire Station - WiIdIand Fire Brush Truck <br />Annual Action Plan <br />2018 <br />OMB Control No, 2506.0117 (exp 06/30/2,018) <br />
