The flow is now moving
slowly toward the Northeast

Due to this flow, the following is provided for your information:
HELCO customers in the lower Puna area, especially Kapoho, may experience
extended power interruptions.
Department of Water Supply customers along Highway 132, between Lava Tree
State Park and Halekamahina Road, may have their water service interrupted.
Residents in the area are advised to stay informed and be prepared to evacuate
with little or no notice.

We are on watch 24-hours a day for your safety.

This is your Hawai‘i County Civil Defense Agency.
