I'm a retired program manager for the Department of Land and Natural <br />Resources, Division of Aquatic Resources. I have a PhD in marine biology. I'm also an adjunct <br />faculty at University of Hawaii at Hilo. <br />Our grandson is the fifth generation in Ninole, so we've grown up all out lives at Mile Marker <br />No. 19.6. I fully support acceptance of the Hamakua CDP because as Brad as leader, really, <br />really convinced me when he said, "what's good for the land is good for the people."
