<br />CIVIL DEFENSE AGENCY DATE: June 14, 2018 <br />MEDIA UPDATE TIME: 9 PM <br /> UPDATE: #4 <br /> <br />Incident: East Rift Zone Eruption <br /> <br />This is a Civil Defense Message for Thursday, June 14 at 9 in the evening. <br /> <br />Residents of Hawai‘i County who suffered damage or losses from the recent Kilauea volcanic <br />eruption and earthquakes, can now register for disaster assistance with the Federal <br />Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). <br /> <br />The following is provided for your information: <br /> <br /> A Disaster Recovery Center (DRC), jointly operated by Hawaii County, the State of <br />Hawaii, and FEMA will open tomorrow, Friday, June 15 at 8 a.m. <br /> The DRC is located at Kea‘au High School Gymnasium and will be open daily from 8:00 <br />am to 8:00 pm. <br /> People can register for assistance at the DRC, as well as having many of their questions <br />answered. <br /> Shuttle buses will run on the following schedules: <br /> <br />Route 1 – Keaau Armory and Keaau High School Parking Lot to Keaau High School Gym <br /> Continuous shuttle every 20 mins <br /> <br />730 Keaau Armory <br />735 Keaau High School Parking Lot <br />740 Keaau High School Gym <br />745 Parking Lot <br />750 Armory <br />755 Parking Lot <br />800 Gym <br />805 Parking Lot <br />810 Armory <br />Continuous until 9:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />Route 2 – Pahoa Community Center to Keaau High School Gym <br /> Continuous shuttle every hour <br /> <br />730 Pahoa Gym <br />735 Pahoa Community Center <br />800 Keaau High School Gym <br />830 Pahoa Gym <br />835 Pahoa Community Center <br />900 Keaau High School Gym <br />Continuous until 9:00 p.m. <br /> <br />
