Page 35 <br />1 on the situation, as well as the desire to do your due <br />2 diligence <br />to make sure <br />that you are fully up to <br />speed <br />3 and fully <br />aware of, you <br />know, everything that's <br />going <br />4 on. <br />5 Unfortunately, in regards <br />to that, you <br />know, <br />6 I think several of the commissioners <br />were taking <br />it <br />7 upon themselves to directly contact the Department of <br />8 Human Resources as well as Corporation Counsel. And I <br />9 think what happened was, you know, I noticed my <br />10 personnel was kind of running around like chickens <br />11 <br />without, <br />you know, <br />heads, <br />trying to address <br />your <br />12 <br />concerns; <br />because <br />each of <br />your concerns and <br />each of <br />13 <br />your requests <br />are, you <br />know, <br />really <br />important <br />to us, <br />14 <br />and we want to <br />satisfy <br />your <br />requests <br />and meet <br />your <br />15 expectations. <br />16 <br />And so what <br />I did was, you know, <br />during that <br />17 <br />period of time, I had <br />a chance to speak to <br />the Chair, <br />18 <br />and we came up with a <br />recommendation that <br />if there is a <br />19 request for information from either the Department of <br />20 Human Resources or Corporation Counsel, we would <br />21 request that if that, you know, request would go <br />22 through the Chair and then the Chair would then contact <br />23 either myself or, you know, Amy, and then we would <br />24 forward it to the most appropriate, you know, personnel <br />25 within our departments to properly respond to the <br />ISLAND COURT REPORTING & TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES <br />(808) 933-9800 <br />
