Now as Chair…I’m <br /> supposed to not really participate in much of the you know let <br /> everyone speak first…I’m not supposed to make motions but if no <br /> one has a motion to make I’m willing to make one if we would <br /> suspend the rules…it would Robert’s Rules in this case and I will <br /> make a motion if you want to go that route or if someone has a <br /> motion but we or it can be a motion to continue but we need to <br /> move forward… <br /> <br /> Ms. Sumner-Mack: I have a comment. <br /> <br /> Mr. Goodenow: Sure. <br /> <br /> Ms. Sumner-Mack: I’m wondering what…the petitioner would like to result from <br /> this…I’m reading this contract which says that…continuation of a <br /> contract beyond the close of business on June 15, 2018 shall be <br /> subject to the availability of funds and re-certification of such <br /> funds by the Finance Director…what is it that you want…. <br /> <br />th <br /> Ms. Novak: I would like the contract terminated on June 15 so as it stands <br /> now…she has a month to prepare someone else in that position and <br />th <br /> have the contract terminated on June 15… <br /> <br /> Ms. Sumner-Mack: On what grounds…. <br /> <br /> Ms. Novak: We no longer need her…she has been hoarding the <br /> information…the information is not like I said in my previous <br /> testimony…the responsibilities of the project manager or the <br /> program manager are not difficult…anybody can do it…anybody <br /> in our department can step up and become a program <br /> manager…what it…what that position essentially does is facilitates <br /> dialogue between the vendors and County employees…County <br /> staff…anybody can do that…you don’t need intricate…detailed <br /> knowledge of the current Magnet system…the new Energov <br /> system…yes this is going to be a sizable project because it will <br /> involve multiple agencies…it’s not just Public Works…it will <br /> involve Planning…it will involve Environmental Management…so <br />18 <br /> <br /> <br />
