At this time, <br />4 I would like to call -- I made a selection for our <br />5 deputy, and I wanted to call him forward for an <br />6 introduction. <br />7 Allan, if you could come up. <br />8 This is Mr. Allan Yokoyama. He comes in <br />9 originally from Oahu. His wife is from Hilo. He's <br />10 here taking care of his family commitments, and I was <br />11 fortunate; we brought him in maybe about six months ago <br />12 under an employment contract to specifically work as <br />13 the division head for workers' comp and health and <br />14 safety division. He's been with us since then. I <br />15 appreciate the work he does, and he brings a great deal <br />16 of respect and knowledge to the department, and I'm <br />17 glad he accepted my offer to be a deputy. So I would <br />18 like to introduce Allan to the commission. <br />19 CHR. ONO: Tell us about yourself. <br />20 MR. YOKOYAMA: Okay. Well -- <br />21 CHR. ONO: But not more than 30 seconds. <br />22 MR. YOKOYAMA: Yeah. That's why I'm trying <br />23 to think of what else to say. <br />24 Like Bill said, I'm originally from Honolulu. <br />25 I moved here temporarily. And my wife is from Hilo.
