Take care of the housekeeping items <br />5 in the administrative rules first and then do the other <br />6 one, if necessary? <br />7 MS. SELF: I think so. I think we should get <br />8 our rules updated and then, later on, if they do pass <br />9 this, then we could have another public hearing to <br />10 amend the rules to include -- in fact, I don't even -- <br />11 well, we have to look at it and see what kind of rules <br />12 are necessary to implement this. <br />13 CHR. ONO: Well, we can begin working on it <br />14 as a process/part of our commission meetings. <br />15 MS. SELF: Right. <br />16 MR. BRILHANTE: Quite fortuitously, this item <br />17 is under subsection "B)", Rules of the Salary Commission, <br />18 so there's discussion here in the agenda. So, actually, <br />19 if you wanted to take action, it would be legally <br />20 proper for you to take action at this meeting, to take <br />21 a vote as to whether or not that's something you want <br />22 to do, have the commission partake in. <br />23 CHR.
