The LEPC sponsored 2 Hazmat personnel from the department to attend <br />the Continuing Challenge conference in Sacramento. Upon return, they <br />will give a report of their experience. <br /> Police – no report given <br /> <br />VI. Industry partners reports – <br /> PGV – No one from PGV was present due to their facility being shut <br /> down for the week. <br /> BEI – They will be moving storage site and are changing their local <br /> management. Geoff Lauer will be retiring in April 2014 so he brought his <br /> replacement to the meeting, Lucas Parrish. <br /> <br />VII. Department of Health HEER report – EPCRA brochures were completed by <br />HEER and distributed to us to be put at strategic locations such as the <br />planning office, DPW, Tax office, etc. These brochures provide information <br />on who needs to complete a tier II report and what needs to be reported. <br />Harold Lau reported that the HMEP grant had been completed for next year <br />for the upcoming Hazmat Technician classes. These classes will be scheduled <br />soon. <br /> <br />VIII. Announcements – Henry announced that the LEPC will need to vote on the <br />upcoming NASTPO conference in April 2014. There is a grant that will cover <br />the costs of our attendance. <br /> <br />IX. Next meeting - The next LEPC meeting will be held on November 21, 2013 at <br />CD. <br /> <br />X. Adjournment – the meeting was adjourned at 11:58 am. <br />
