WHR LLC, dba Grand Naniloa Hotel, A Double Tree by Hilton, submits Application for Increase in Licensed Premises to its Hotel liquor license to include entire parcel of TMK: 2-1-001:012, also known as the Naniloa Golf Course, located at 120 Banyan Drive, Hilo, Hawaii. Newton Chu, representing the Applicant, was present. Taniguchi: Good morning. Chu: Good morning, Chair Taniguchi, members of the Commission, Administrator Gonzalez and staff. Nice to see you today. I'm Newton Chu on behalf of the Applicant. I'd like to remind everybody that this is about the golf course. We're asking for liquor service on the golf course. A liquor cart and maybe at the pro shop. I just received something today and I just want to remind everybody what we're talking about here. Thank you. Taniguchi: Have you read the report? Are there any changes? Chu: There are no changes to the report. Taniguchi: For the record, can you briefly describe the business? Chu: The golf course is a nine -hole golf course that probably pre -dates me, maybe not. There's very limited play, however, when the ownership took over, they did put in some money for improvements to the golf course.
