Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. and <br />performances begin at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are just $15 per person per night. <br />The Royal Court appearance will precede Solo performances and the <br />International Ho‘olaule‘a Wednesday night and the Kane, Wahine, and Mixed <br />group competitions on Thursday night. <br /> <br />20 halau have entered the festival to date. This year’s theme <br />“Nā Mele ‘Āina no Kohala, Kona me Ka‘u” focuses on songs written about the <br />districts of Kohala, Kona and Ka‘u. <br /> <br />Tickets for the festival can be purchased at the Special Programs <br />office located at 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Hwy., Bldg.
