(808)935-4429 <br />FAX (808)935-1844 <br />e-mail: chrisyuenz@hotmail.com <br />r <br />Co <br />I have enclosed with this letter the final work of the 1999-2000 Charter Commission, <br />which consists of : <br />(1) Final Language for Ballot; <br />(2) Final Digest of Charter Amendments; <br />(3) The final proposed changes to Charter language, Proposed Amendments 1-16. <br />I have also enclosed a diskette whichcontains these in Word 6.0 format. <br />The "Final Language for Ballot" should be the wording of the questions framed in the <br />November ballot. <br />The Charter Commission will be printing copies of the Digest and distributing them. The <br />Charter Commission will also arrange for publication of the Digest in the two local newspapers <br />and the RFD not less than 45 days before the general election. <br />The Commission has asked for your cooperation in placing the Digest in the various <br />polling places and, if legally permissible, in the voting booth. <br />Please do not hesitate to call me should you have any questions, and thank you for your <br />anticipated cooperation. <br />Christopher J.
