You need to talk about -. <br />BESS: No, it’s not going to be on paper. <br />HIGASHI: You know -. <br />BESS: And we will interview -. <br />HIGASHI: In terms of limitations, hourly rates, pro bono, whatever, yeah. <br />SANTANGELO: Right. <br />BESS: Right. And -. <br />HERKES: Pro bono? <br />HIGASHI: Well -. <br />HERKES: Good discussion. <br />HIGASHI: Marni, I think just stick to the facts. <br />HERKES: Okay. <br />HIGASHI: The people, the rates that they quoted last time, a lot of it was pro bono work because they <br />did work for $95 a hour or something like that. <br />IRVINE: Right. <br />BESS: Yeah. <br />HIGASHI: And the past attorney doesn’t charge $95 for his legal work, so it’s some pro bono. <br />RAY: Okay. <br />IRVINE: I guess I -, I’m supposed to be on this subcommittee, but if you look at our time line, our <br />tentative time line, this -, in May, we have meetings in Kona and Hilo, which are brainstorming, and we <br />weren’t really meeting -, we didn’t have an agenda, so I’m a little worried about when we’re going to <br />get this attorney on board. <br />BESS: Well, is there a problem with us getting -, having -? Can we have just a separate session with <br />regard to the appointment of the attorney? <br />HERKES: Special meeting? <br />BESS: Well, I mean, you know, in conjunction with the Kona meeting going on. <br />RAY: I don’t see why not but, you know, do we feel like we need to have our own legal staff on hand, <br />you know, for those public informational meetings?
