Santangelo, G. Yoshiyama, Corporation Counsel R. <br />Wurdeman <br />Absent: E. Alonzo <br />And 4 members of the public in attendance. <br />th <br />RAY: Okay, we’ll call the meeting to order at 3:06 p.m. This is the May 19 Special Meeting of the <br />1999-2000 Hawaii County Charter Commission. The meeting’s called to order. Let the meeting (sic) <br />reflect that members in attendance at Mr. Ray, Mr. Balog, Mr. Bess, Ms. Irvine, Mr. Kurozawa, Mr. <br />Martin, Mr. Santangelo, and Mr. Yoshiyama, and we are expecting the other members presently. <br />th <br />Item No. III, Minutes. We distributed the minutes of the April 14 meeting at the last meeting last week. <br />Have the members had time to review those minutes and, if so, do I have a motion to approve? <br />YOSHIYAMA: So moved. <br />SANTANGELO: Second. <br />KUROZAWA: Second. <br />RAY: Any discussion? <br />YOSHIYAMA: Yeah, I have a -. <br />RAY: Mr. Yoshiyama. <br />YOSHIYAMA: I don’t know what to call it. On Page 45, about three-quarters of the way down, I <br />supposedly said, "Ironic how we choose these dates." Except I didn’t say that. I don’t think it was me. <br />SANTANGELO: Do you have proof? <br />YOSHIYAMA: I don’t want to claim that statement, so it’s somebody else. That was the only thing.
