Ray, E. Alonzo, S. Bess, M. Herkes, R. Higashi, S. Irvine, D. Kurozawa, G. Martin, J. Santangelo, G. <br />Yoshiyama <br />Absent: K. Balog, Counsel C. Yuen <br />And no members of the public in attendance. <br />The meeting was called to order at 9:50 a.m. <br />RAY: I’d like to call the Special Meeting of the Hawaii County Charter Commission to order. It’s Saturday, December 4th. <br />We’re in Waimea. Present are myself John Ray; Roland Higashi, Eddie Alonzo; Steve Bess; Marni Herkes; Sue Irvine; Daryl <br />Kurozawa; George Martin; John Santangelo; and Gary Yoshiyama. <br />Statements from the Public. There are no members of the public present today. <br />We’ll move on to Minutes Approval. We’re approving today the minutes of October 16th and October 27th. Let’s do them <br />separately. The minutes of October 16th, do I have a motion to approve? <br />SANTANGELO: So moved. <br />RAY: Second? <br />IRVINE: Second. <br />RAY: Any discussion? All in favor? <br />COMMISSIONERS: Aye. <br />RAY: Minutes of October 27th? <br />HIGASHI: Move to approve. <br />RAY: Second? <br />SANTANGELO: Second. <br />RAY: Any comment? All in favor? <br />COMMISSIONERS: Aye. <br />RAY: Okay. <br />Financial Status Report: Looking at the balance from last fiscal year, we show a balance of $23,723.68, and from this fiscal <br />year $87,423.54.
