Okay? <br />YUEN: You can do that. <br />IRVINE: Can I? Okay. <br />YUEN: You can change it. <br />IRVINE: I just did so. <br />YUEN: I think that the members of the Commission want to adopt this new language, and there is a disagreement among <br />members of the Commission as to whether there should be confirmation by the Council. So, if it wasn’t clear - I thought it <br />was that you were voting that there would be no confirmation. <br />IRVINE: Okay, then I should have voted no. <br />YUEN: Were there six votes with you voting? I didn’t count them. <br />IRVINE: Three of us voted - <br />MARTIN: I know myself and Gary didn’t vote. <br />YOSHIYAMA: I didn’t vote. <br />IRVINE: Then it didn’t really pass yet. <br />RAY: What’s the best way to get us out of this mess? <br />HERKES: These are preliminary votes, right? <br />HIGASHI: Why don’t we reaffirm the vote, show of hands. <br />YUEN: The motion is to not require Council confirmation on the Managing Director. <br />HIGASHI: The motion in the compromise was to adopt certain language from the Maui to insert in John’s section. <br />MARTIN: Question. Clarification on the language that’s going to be implemented, because I heard two things here. First I <br />heard Roland’s indication that he wanted - <br />HERKES: Public or private business. <br />MARTIN: Right, correct. <br />MARTIN: And then I heard - <br />RAY: That he wanted what? <br />IRVINE: Maui.
