MR. HOOKANO: Mr. Chair, just to let everyone know, the County Council has to <br />transmit their report by May 12, 2010. The Commission's regularly scheduled meeting is <br />on May 14, 2010, the second Friday of the month. However, we won't be able to file an <br />agenda for that meeting unless we receive the report earlier. So, I don't think we would <br />be able to have the meeting on May 14, 2010. The Commission could decide on an <br />alternate date, sometime after that; at least six days after May 12, 2010. <br />VICE CHR. FUERTES: Are there any suggestions, commissioners? <br />MS. OSBORNE: Friday, May 21, 2010. <br />VICE CHR. FUERTES: Can we all accept May 21, 2010? <br />MR. HOOKANO: Yes, May 21, 2010. Would it beat the same time and location? <br />VICE CHR. FUERTES: Yes, it would be Friday, May 21, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. here in the <br />County Council room in Hilo. If there is no further discussion on things on the agenda, <br />we want to wish you a good weekend, and enjoy Merrie Monarch. We are so fortunate <br />we can have Merrie Monarch on the Big Island; especially in Hilo. I've been walking <br />around - -you know I'm from the kuahiwi of Kohala - -and man, I've never seen so many <br />people over there, and a lot of good energy. So congratulations to the Big Island for <br />hosting this. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />VICE CHR.
