HANANO: Good afternoon, Mr. Chair, we do not have any testifiers here. <br />CHR. HAITSUKA: Thank you. That concludes the statements from the public. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />CHR. HAITSUKA: <br />July 23, 2010 <br />Mr. Kaulukukui moved to approve the minutes <br />of the July 23, 2010, meeting. Seconded by <br />Mr. Shumway. <br />CHR. HAITSUKA: Before we move on to voting, I just wanted to note that you may have <br />noticed that the minutes for the July 23, 2010 meeting are not verbatim like we usually have <br />them. We experienced some technical difficulties at the last meeting where the recording <br />equipment did not function properly. So the format of the minutes that we are using for the <br />July 23, 2010 meeting is a summary. Fortunately for us, our secretary took good notes and <br />she was able to piece together the minutes, and I want to thank her for doing a good job as <br />usual. Is there any further discussion on the minutes from the last meeting> <br />The motion to approve the minutes of the <br />July 23, 2010 meeting was carried by the <br />following vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Jarman, Kaulukukui, <br />Kealoha, Nahale -a, Osborne, Shumway, <br />Unger and Chair Haitsuka. <br />Noes: None. <br />Absent: Commissioners Fuertes, Honma, and <br />Kawauchi. <br />3 <br />
