Akana followed by the swearing in <br /> ceremony of the new members. All members were in attendance for the swearing <br /> in ceremony with the exception of Sherwood Greenwell who was detained at a <br /> previous meeting and arrived later. <br /> Before the meeting was called to order, each member signed his Oath of <br /> Loyalty card which was then notarized by Karolyn Nagao, Recording Secretary <br /> Pro Tem. Applications and financial disclosures were collected, parking <br /> permits were assigned and handouts were given out. <br /> CALL TO ORDER: The Hawaii County Charter Commission meeting was called to <br /> order at 1:20 p.m. in the Liquor Control Conference Room <br /> located in the Hilo Lagoon Centre at 101 Aupuni Street, Hilo, <br /> • Hawaii, by Mr. Robert Bethea, Chairman Pro Tem. <br /> ROLL CALL: The roll recorded the following: <br /> PRESENT: Mr. Robert Bethea <br /> Ms. Francine Duncan <br /> Dr. James 0.
