They all seem to be <br /> given a specific charge. Yours is collecting, <br /> coordinating. Do you feel there should be more specific <br /> jobs assigned to you in terms of reporting back to the mayor <br /> or an agency? <br /> MAUNAKEA: I . . .you could make it more specific. To me <br /> it ' s understood that because this information is being used <br /> for policy making and legislative decision-making, it ' s <br /> assumed that those. . . that those decisions are being made by <br /> the mayor. <br /> CUSHNIE: Do you feel comfortable if a councilperson <br /> approached you and asked you for the information the mayor <br /> had requested? <br /> MAUNAKEA: I think I would ask the mayor about it and <br /> get his permission because he' s my boss , and clear it with <br /> him first. <br /> CUSHNIE: ( Inaudible. ) If you thought that needed to <br /> be specified, would you give that some thought? <br /> MAUNAKEA: Okay. <br /> GREENWELL: They' re confirmed . . . but you' re confirmed by <br /> the Council? <br /> MAUNAKEA: Yes . <br /> GREENWELL: So it is ( inaudible) . <br /> CUSHNIE: There is.
