Voting procedures when voting on zoning and <br /> general plan amendments. <br /> The planning commission ' s role as established by the county <br /> chatter on both zoning and general plan amendments is to make a <br /> recommendation to the county council on the proposed amendment. <br /> The language regarding the procedures is similar . For zonings, <br /> §5-4 . 3 (c) states as follows: <br /> "Review subdivision ana zoning ordinances <br /> and amendments thereto drafted by the director <br /> and transmit such ordinances with recommendations <br /> thereon through the mayor to the council for <br /> consideration and action. The commission shall <br /> recommend approval, in whole or in part, with or <br /> without modifications, or rejection of such <br /> ordinances.
