I am concerned with the effect that this large <br /> number of proposed charter amendments will have on the time it takes . <br /> our citizens to complete the voting process . <br /> With the large number of proposed charter amendment , I foresee many <br /> long lines and delays at our polling places . In order to complete <br /> those things that are necessary. to plan the proposed charter <br /> amendments on the ballot, I would appreciate it if you can give me <br /> your proposed amendments no later than August 10, 1990 . I must <br /> receive them by this date so that I can draft the ballots and <br /> forward them to the Lieutenant Governor' s office. <br /> I would like to discuss these matters with you at your next Charter <br /> Commission meeting.
