Amendment "11" : The digest and recommended ballot <br /> language were approved, with a change in the sections <br /> to be amended. <br /> Amendments "12, " "13, " and "14" : The digest and <br /> recommended ballot language were approved without <br /> changes. <br /> Amendment "15": The digest and recommended ballot <br /> language were approved without changes. <br /> The Commission also approved a digest and recommended <br /> ballot language for the new proposed amendment "15" <br /> which had been adopted at this meeting. <br /> Public Information <br /> The Commission voted to send an informational brochure <br /> based on the "digest" to as many voters as possible by <br /> mail, and to request of the county clerk that the <br /> digest be available in each voting booth. The <br /> consensus was that the mailing should take place after <br /> the primary election, and about 30 days before the <br /> general. The Charter requires newspaper publication of <br /> the digest at least 45 days before the general <br /> election. Counsel will arrange the mailing and <br /> • publication in conjunction with the mayor's office. <br /> VII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> The Commission discussed the completion of its work, <br /> and that this appeared to be the final meeting.
