CALL TO ORDER <br /> Vice Chairman Greenwell called the meeting to order at <br /> approximately 10: 00 a.m. at the Aspen Institute at <br /> Punalu'u, HI . <br /> II. ROLL CALL <br /> Members Sherwood Greenwell , Vice Chairman <br /> Present: Pamela F. Cushnie <br /> Francine Duncan <br /> H. Peter L'Orange <br /> Aileen Lum <br /> Steven T. Nishikawa <br /> Akira T. Omonaka <br /> Attorney: Christopher Yuen <br /> Secretary:R. Marie Jacobs <br /> 111 Members Robert E. Bethea, Chairman <br /> Absent: David Fuertes <br /> James O. Juvik <br /> Patricia M. Poppe <br /> III . PUBLIC HEARING: <br /> A. Ms . Dolores McMann wanted to know what this public 1 <br /> hearing concerned. Greenwell/Cushnie: Explained it <br /> concerned Charter changes : Items that might be made <br /> clearer or more readable, changes in district lines <br /> for example; and changes will be voted on in the <br /> 1990 election. <br /> . <br /> B. Ms. McMann said she had a friend who wanted to <br /> testify but did not learn of the meeting until too <br /> late. Greenwell : Suggested she could testify at <br /> any of the following meetings if she wished. <br /> IV.
