' .f , 4 • BIL•©0 328_ <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII - STATE OF HAWAII <br /> ORDINANCE 304: <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 10 , CHAPTER 2 OF THE HAWAII <br /> COUNTY CODE RELATING TO TRAVEL AND OTHER EXPENSES . <br /> WHEREAS , on August 3 , 1977 , the County Council adopted <br /> Ordinance No. 293 , which increased the compensation for <br /> use of private automobiles for all officers and employees <br /> of the County of Hawaii; and • <br /> WHEREAS, the members of the County Council are desirous <br /> •„A. of exempting themselves from the increase in compensation <br /> for use of private automobiles , <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII : <br /> SECTION 1. Section 4. 04 , Article 10 , Chapter 2 of the <br /> • Hawaii County Code, as amended by Ordinance No. 293 on <br /> August 3 , 1977 , is amended to read as follows.: <br /> -.SEC. 4.04 COMPENSATION -FOR USE OF PRIVATE AUTOMOBILE <br /> "A. MILEAGE ALLOWANCE A department head may <br /> authorize any officer or employee over whom he <br /> has administrative supervision to use ” <br /> privately-owned automobiles on official business <br /> on a mileage allowance basis when publicly- <br /> owned vehicles are not available or are <br /> • <br /> impractical to use. • <br /> Sa.
