H. Adjournment <br /> The order of business may be altered by the Chairman <br /> • by majority vote of the Commission. <br /> IX. PUBLIC STATEMENTS —WRITTEN/ORAL <br /> A. All persons desiring to speak before the Commission <br /> shall register with the secretary prior to <br /> the convening of the meeting, and shall provide <br /> the Commission with their name , address, and <br /> organization they represent, if applicable. <br /> No person, who fails to register, shall be <br /> heard. <br /> B. The Chairman shall call the name of the person <br /> desiring to speak, and all persons shall <br /> speak before a microphone, and be informed <br /> that their statements will be recorded. <br /> C. All statements before the Commission shall be <br /> in reference to provisions in the Charter of <br /> the County of Hawaii or those that may be <br /> proposed as amendments or additions thereto. <br /> Statements not relevant, at the discretion of <br /> the Chairman, shall not be heard or considered. <br /> Whenever requested or appropriate, the speaker <br /> shall specify the charter provision referred to <br /> so that members may be familiar with its <br /> provisions. <br /> D. All statements are to be made to the Commission <br /> in general, and not to any specific member, <br /> unless in response to a question by the said <br /> member. <br /> E. At any time, the Chairman or any Commission member <br /> -3- <br />
