So there will be of necessity from today at <br /> least twenty days before the public hearing. A couple of <br /> days to obtain the mayor' s signature and for filing with <br /> the county clerk. Then count ten days beyond that for the <br /> effective date of the rules. `So we are getting into some- <br /> time in April before the rules can become effective. The <br /> public hearing that I have tentatively scheduled for this <br /> commission ' s approval is March 27 which is the first Tuesday <br /> following the twenty days after the newspaper publication <br /> which I am proposing to be this Friday. Ten days after that <br /> would make it April 6. I would say to play it safe probably <br /> the first official public hearing for this commission in any <br /> place around the island should not be scheduled for any time <br /> earlier than the 17th of April. <br /> MR. SCHUTTE : Mr. Chairman , I move that <br /> the revised Rules of Procedure be adopted and we set up the <br /> public hearing on March 27, 1979. <br /> MRS. KOBAYASHI : I second the motion. <br /> CHAIRMAN SAKATA: It has been moved and <br /> seconded that we accept the revised Rules of Procedure and <br /> public hearing on March 27, 1979.
