The Chair called for the acceptance of April 10 as <br /> meeting date for the United Public Workers ' presentation. <br /> The motion to accept was made by <br /> Mr. Trulson, seconded by <br /> Mrs. Iwamoto and unanimously <br /> carried. <br /> APPROVAL The Chair called for the approval of minutes dated <br /> OF MINUTES: March 13, 1979. <br /> Mr. Trulson made the motion to <br /> approve the minutes. Seconded by <br /> Mr. Yagong and unanimously carried. <br /> CALENDAR The following omission was noted for the Revised <br /> OMISSION: Calendar, Agenda and Target Dates: <br /> August 25 . . .Election Proclamation published <br /> in Newspaper. (HRS 11-91 ) <br /> COMMUNI- The following communications were considered: <br /> CATIONS: <br /> Comm. 35 : Letter from Stephen K. Yamashiro, Chairman, County <br /> Council, dated March 12, 1979 acknowledging re- <br /> ceipt of Commission ' s request for approval of <br /> hiring Stuart Oda, Attorney, as legal counsel. <br /> Comm. 36: Letter from Ruth Tabrah, Chairman, Hawaii County <br /> Committee, Democratic Party of Hawaii , dated March <br /> 14, 1979 regarding Charter revision of Section 13-4(f) . <br /> In response to Ms. Tabrah' s letter she <br /> was contacted and is scheduled to speak <br /> before the Commission at the publichearing <br /> in Waimea on May 15 . <br /> Mr. Trulson moved that Communications 35 <br /> and 36 be received and filed.
