I know there is something on the <br /> calendar scheduled for the 14th of August. Maybe Mr. George <br /> Tamashiro can be invited at that time by the county clerk ' s <br /> office. ISHIDA: I second it. <br /> CHAIRMAN SAKATA: It has been moved and seconded <br /> that we retain the present form of government as:set up under <br /> the County Charter. All those in favor? <br /> MR. OMONAKA: Mr. Chairman. Discussion on the <br /> motion. Is it your intent that you leave all the commissions <br /> and every department as they are? <br /> MR. TRULSON: No. I withdraw that motion and <br /> will form a new one. I move that we retain the concept of <br /> government that we now have in the County of Hawaii. <br /> CHAIRMAN SAKATA: The former motion has been <br /> withdrawn and we have a new motion. That we retain the concept <br /> of the present system of government. <br /> MR. ISHIDA: I second it. <br /> CHAIRMAN SAKATA: It has been moved and seconded. <br /> All those in favor?
