HAWAII COUNTY CHARTER COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> 25th Session <br /> July 3, 1979 <br /> Hilo, Hawaii <br /> The twenty-fifth session of the Hawaii County Charter <br /> Commission was called to order at 2: 34 p.m. in the Hawaii <br /> County Councilroom, Hawaii County Building, Hilo, Hawaii by <br /> Mr. Kimiaki Sakata, Chairman. <br /> The roll recorded the following: <br /> Present: Mr. Harlan Cadinha <br /> Mr. Richard Ishida <br /> Mrs. Amy Iwamoto <br /> Mrs. Gloria Kobayashi (came in later) <br /> Mr. Akira Omonaka (came in later) <br /> Mr. Kimiaki Sakata <br /> Mr. Spencer Kalani Schutte <br /> Mr. Herman Sensano <br /> Mr. Joseph Trulson <br /> Mr. Matsuo Yanaga <br /> Absent Mr. Basilio Yagong <br /> and <br /> Excused: <br /> Also Mr. Stuart Oda, Attorney: (came in later) <br /> Present: Ms. Frances Higa, Research Assistant <br /> Mrs. Joan Carnett, Secretary <br /> APPROVAL The Chair called for approval of minutes dated <br /> OF MINUTES: June 19, 1979. <br /> Mr. Sensano made the motion to <br /> approve the minutes as presented. <br /> Seconded by Mrs. Iwamoto and unani- <br /> mously carried. <br /> BUSINESS CHAIRMAN SAKATA: The business of the day will <br /> OF THE DAY: be to continue drafting revisions to the charter. <br /> MR. SCHUTTE : Mr. Chairman. As a matter of <br /> record., under communications, I would like to <br /> have it recorded that 'I am in receipt of a letter from the <br /> West Hawaii Committee, Mr. Bill Moss, and it shall be filed <br /> with our secrdtary and numbered as communications for next <br /> week's business. Just as a matter of record. <br />
