All members serve four year terms. (This is the <br /> present council makeup. ) <br /> OPTION TWO: I vote to change the council to members , <br /> running from the four State Representative Districts , <br /> serving year terms and at-large, serving <br /> year terms. A reapportionment commission will be <br /> created to redraw district lines every ten years beginning <br /> in 1983. <br /> VOTE FOR ONLY ONE OPTION <br /> OPTION ONE <br /> OPTION TWO <br /> Suggestion Two <br /> COUNTY COUNCIL COMPOSITION AND TERMS <br /> I VOTE YES FOR ONE OF THE TWO OPTIONS BELOW. • <br /> OPTION ONE : Section 3-2 of the Charter of the County of <br /> Hawaii shall remain as is , providing for a nine member <br /> council, six being residents of six geographical areas and <br /> three at-large. All members serve four year terms . <br /> OPTION TWO: Section 3-2 of the Charter of the County of <br /> Hawaii shall be amended to provide for a member <br /> council, of whom shall be elected from the four <br /> State Representative Districts and shall be elected <br /> at-large.
