Saquing <br />Donna Mae Springer <br />RE: Formation of Ad Hoc Committee — Section 10-15 and Section 10-16 of Hawai`i <br />County Charter; Relating to Public Access, Open Space, and Natural Resources <br />Preservation Fund and Maintenance Fund <br />This memorandum reports that, at its meeting held August 10, 2018, the Charter <br />Commission moved to form an Ad Hoc Committee (JAW HRS 92-2.5(b)(1)) to <br />investigate Hawai`i County Charter Section 10-15 and Section 10-16, for the purpose of <br />introducing recommendations for proposals to amend said Sections. <br />The members assigned to this Ad Hoc Committee are: Paul Hamano, Christopher "Kit" <br />Roehrig, Donna Springer, and Jennifer Zelko-Schlueter, with Commissioner Roehrig <br />designated as Chairperson. <br />The Ad Hoc Committee will present a report of its findings and recommendations (if any) <br />for placement on the next available meeting agenda, with the understanding that <br />discussion and deliberation on said findings and recommendations (if any) is not to occur <br />until a subsequent meeting of the Commission. <br />Should you have any questions, please contact our Commission Analyst, Jon Henricks at <br />(808) 961-8580. <br />DSA/jdh <br />Comm.
