Communication No. 2018-12: Action Committee Recommendation Letter: Pursuant to <br />a discussion at their July 23, 2018 meeting, the Action Committee will consider a priority <br />recommendation letter drafted by Chair Kaneali'i for the upcoming year. Action Committee <br />members may amend and approve the letter during this discussion. Discussion may also <br />include the creation of additional investigatory subcommittees as desired by the Action <br />Committee. <br />3. Communication No. 2018-07: CIP Budget Overview and Action Committee <br />Recommendation Strategy Discussion. The Action Committee will discuss and plan for <br />making recommendations for the County's Capital Improvement Program/Budget for the <br />next (2019/2020) fiscal year. Discussion may include formation of a CIP Budget <br />Subcommittee. <br />4. Nominations of lands in South Kohala for acquisition with Funds from the County's <br />Public Access, Open Space and Natural Resources Preservation Fund [PONC]. The <br />Action Committee will discuss the process of nominating lands for acquisition consideration <br />by PONC prior to their February 28, 2019 deadline. Discussion may include parcel <br />suggestions and could involve the creation of a PONC investigatory subcommittee. <br />COMMITTEE CAPACITY BUILDING: <br />5. South Kohaia Land Use Background Presentation.
