Recovery Needs <br />• Scale of the recovery is enormous and well beyond the <br />County's means <br />• Only NEEDS have been estimated so far <br />— Identification of resources is ongoing <br />• An initial DRAFT is being developed <br />• Two types of needs <br />— Statutory: tools that may be needed <br />— Financial: ensure that communities recover & are more <br />resilient <br />• <br />The <br />State isn't <br />expected <br />to meet the <br />full <br />need <br />• Not <br />all of the <br />funding should be directed <br />to the County <br />— Much can be addressed with existing State initiatives and <br />appropriations <br />
