Both were previously working as CSE Community Service Worker I positions; <br />Reyn in Hilo and Kalehua in Kona. <br /> <br />CSE Hilo welcomes two new Community Service Worker I’s <br />In September, Winifred “Winnie” Morikami and Joni Wah Yick started work in the Hilo District <br />office as the newly hired Community Service Worker I’s. Both are looking forward to servicing <br />our seniors in the community. <br /> <br />CSE bids a fond Aloha and Mahalo to <br />Angie Onaka for her 19 years of service. She has helped many of our Kupuna over the <br />years and will be missed by many. We wish her the best of luck on her new journey! <br /> <br />Berni Urban for her contribution to the Elderly Activities Division.  Her willingness to help <br />our Kupuna will surely be missed. Best of luck on your new endeavor! <br /> <br />Ruth Prasad for her contributions to the Kupuna of Hilo since March 2016. <br />Good luck and best wishes on your next chapter. <br /> <br />Elderly Activities Division I&A District Team Meetings <br />Elderly Activities Division (EAD) held it’s I&A Team District Meetings on July 17 in Hilo <br />and on July 18 in Kona for the RSVP Council Representatives, EAD Senior Clubs and <br />Nutrition Council Presidents. The EAD I&A Team District Meetings in July provide <br />program information and upcoming July to December informational activity and event <br />flyers. Senior representatives also had the opportunity to discuss district problems and <br />concerns. Next year the 2019 EAD Advisory Council Meeting will be held in Hilo. <br /> <br />It’s That Time Again… <br />Coordinated Services will assist in scheduling AARP Tax appointments at the Aging and <br />Disability Resource Center (ADRC) starting January 2, 2019. Seniors living in the East <br />Hawai‘i districts are encouraged to call our CSE Hilo office at (808) 961-8777 to schedule <br />an appointment or contact your nearest CSE district offices to assist you. <br /> <br />Kupuna News 2 Information and Assistance (808) 961-8777
