No. 1.8: Response from Corporation Counsel; Request input on potential conflicts of interest that may arise regarding the Corporation Counsel's role as chief legal adviser and legal representative of both the Executive Branch and Legislative Branch The Charter Commission anticipates convening an executive meeting regarding the above matters, pursuant to Section 92-5(a)(4) of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, for the purpose of consulting with the Commission's attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A two-thirds vote of the members present is necessary to hold an executive meeting; provided the affirmative vote constitutes a majority of the members to which the board is entitled, pursuant to Section 92-4 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, and Rule I(d) of the 2018-2020 Hawaii County Charter Commission Rules of Procedure.
