<br /> <br />The Director will provide informational updates on the following: <br /> <br />a. Status of the proposed Pāhala and Nāāʻlehu Wastewater Treatment Plants. As <br />the County of Hawaiʻi is being sued (Sandra L. Demoruelle v. Dora Beck et al., <br />Civil No. 18-1-00206), discussion of the Pāhala and Nāālehu projects will be ʻ <br />limited. <br /> <br />b. Update on education outreach components included in new contracts. <br /> <br />c. Brown water advisory data provided to the County Council’s Environmental <br />Management Committee on October 2, 2018. <br /> <br />d. Photograph of the State Department of Health’s warning sign that the <br />Department of Environmental Management displays when there is a sewage <br />release. <br /> <br />e. Report on Hawaiʻi County Charter Commission matters involving the <br />Department. <br /> <br />7. FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS <br />Commissioners can suggest items they would like placed on the next agenda. <br /> <br />8.
