Hawaii Police Commission <br />Meeting Agenda <br />November 16, 2018 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION (CLOSED SESSION) <br />The commission anticipates meeting in executive session to consider charges against <br />officers or employees of the Hawaii Police Department, to consider sensitive matters <br />relating to public safety, and may consult with Corporation Counsel on questions and <br />issues pertaining to the commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities <br />pursuant to HRS 92-5 (a) (2) (4) (6) and the Hawaii County Charter Section 13-20 (b). <br /> <br />CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION OF COMPLAINTS (Briefly summarized.) <br />• HPC 18-22: Complainant alleged that an officer's report of his assault was incomplete. <br />HPC 18-26: Complainant alleged that an officer gave her citations for moving <br />violations for her vehicle that was parked on her property. <br />• HPC 18-29: Complainant alleged that when she went to make a complaint at the police <br />station, her baby was taken away from her, and she was not allowed to feed the baby. <br />HPC 18-30: Complainant alleged that an officer tried to antagonize him into an <br />altercation by insulting him. <br /> <br />STATUS REPORT OF REFERRED AND INTERNAL COMPLAINTS <br /> <br />ACTION ON EXECUTIVE SESSION MATTERS (OPEN SESSION) <br />• HPC 18-22 <br />• HPC 18-26 <br />• HPC 18-29 <br />• HPC 18-30 <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />The next monthly meeting is scheduled for December 21, 2018, 9:00 a.m., Aupuni Center <br />Conference Room, 101 Pauahi Street, Hilo, Hawaii. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />NOTICE <br />This meeting place is accessible for persons with disabilities.
