No. 2018-27 <br />NKCDP Action Committee <br />Growth Management Community Group Meeting <br />Monday, November 05, 2018 <br />6:00 pm to 7:00 pm <br />Old Judiciary Building, Kapa'au <br />ATTENDEES: <br />JP, RE, JW, KJ <br />ACTION COMMITTEE REPORT: <br />Discussed the County presentation of Hawaii Land Use 101. <br />Discussed importance of the next AC meeting (November 19t'') <br />PLANNING DEPARTMENT APPLICATIONS: <br />No Applications to review although two Additional Farm Dwelling Applications were processed. Those <br />will be added to next month's meeting agenda. <br />Discussed updated Land Use Summary Report. <br />Discussed the DWS plans for a well at Halaula. This will be discussed in detail at next month's meeting <br />to include information on any rezoning / subdividing proposed. <br />Tangent discussion on parking at Pololu, coastal access, and the County Park land in Hawi. <br />DISCUSSION ON COMMUNITY DESIGN GUIDELINE: <br />The Growth Management Community Group plans to implement a Community Design Guideline <br />addressing signage issues to serve as a mechanism for the Action Committee and the Community to be <br />part of the application process for signs. Discussion tabled until next month's meeting. <br />IMPORTANT NOTE: <br />We are going to experiment with an earlier meeting time. Next month's meeting will begin at 5:30pm. <br />The Growth Management Subcommittee meets the first Monday of each month from 5:30-7pm <br />at the Old Judiciary Building in Kapa'au. Everyone is welcome. <br />
