Takase: You're not planning to use those?
Foster: Those were on our map with what we turned in.
Takase: I guess the map that was submitted to us did not include those areas as part of
your premises. Did you want to include those?
J. Foster: Yes, I'm sorry if we missed that. I thought it was on that area already. The
previous tenants there had been serving, had enclosed spaces up front and back.
Takase: I'm looking at this map (referred to Exhibit 3 of the Report to Commission). Foster: Oh, so I have to shade that? I thought by listing it as exterior seating outside,
it would be included. Thank you for bringing that up.
Fujimoto: Is the lanai included in your lease?
J. Foster: Yes.
Fujimoto: Exclusive use?
J. Foster: Yes.
Fujimoto: So you plan to serve liquor.
J. Foster: Yes. There'll be tables out in the front and in the back, yes.
Taniguchi: Any other questions?
There were no other questions from the Commissioners.
Taniguchi: Since none, all those in favor to close public hearing signify by saying, "Aye."
The Commissioners voted "aye."
August 2, 2018 — LIQUOR COMMISSION MINUTES 9
