Election of Salary Commission Chair and Vice -Chair, Effective Close of <br />Business, November 27, 2018. <br />Postponed. September 17, 2018 <br />2. Review of existing compensation plan to include discussion and <br />consideration on proposals for adjustments to future salaries of <br />executives and elected officials beginning July 1, 2019. Discussion may <br />include: <br />A. Overtime compensation for executives and officials: <br />i. Adjustments to salaries for extraordinary demands due to <br />disaster response. (Examples and general discussion for future <br />consideration.) <br />Postponed. September 17 and October 9, 2018 <br />B. Presentation of Draft Plan prepared by Chair Ono on proceeding with <br />the following presentations and the proposed schedule as agreed <br />upon by the Commissioners at its October 9, 2018, meeting): Future <br />salary recommendations from a representative of the respective board <br />or commission for those appointed positions that report to them: <br />a. <br />Mayor <br />b. <br />County Council <br />c. <br />Police Commission <br />d. <br />Fire Commission <br />e. <br />Merit Appeals Board <br />f. <br />Liquor Commission <br />g. <br />Corporation Counsel <br />h. <br />Prosecuting Attorney <br />i. <br />Others <br />i. Discussion on whether to receive input from these boards or <br />commissions on the current status, their recommendation, and <br />input on past 2018 made and future 2019 adjustments (the <br />Commissioners clarified it should include year 2019 at its <br />October 9, 2018 meeting). <br />(Includes, but are not limited to, the offices of the Mayor and <br />County Council.) <br />(This subject item continues on the next page.) <br />
