The following persons were present: <br />ROLL CALL <br />Action Committee Members Present : Charles Young (Chair), Doug Payne , Kari Kimura, Shane Palacat - <br /> <br />Nelsen, and Hiram Rivera. <br />Action Committee M embers Absent - Excused: Shirley David (Vice - Chair), Barbara DeFranco , Franz <br />Weber, and Janice Palma - Glennie. <br />Staff Planners : Michael Yee, Kamuela Plunkett, and Heather Bartlett. <br />Members of the public : 6 <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA: None. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS: At the start of the meeting Chair Young offered to the Action <br />Committee. <br />i ke kai <br />" " <br />[This positive , and <br />proactive movement of people. Chair Young used this analogy to encourage speedy movement on <br />projects from the AC, and the County alike.] <br />1 . A dministrative Matters: <br />Chair Young explained a slight change in how members of the community may make comments during <br />the meeting. He expl ained that, rather than only making public comment at the beginning of the <br />meeting, community members may instead make comments during agenda items as well. He <br />expressed wishing to create a more conversational meeting format. <br />Chair Young reminded the Action Committee that they are welcome to make suggestions for future <br />agendas , as long as they do so before the 6 - day deadline to publish. He encouraged Action Committee <br />members to send suggestions to himself or staff between meetings. <br />Employer Page 1 <br /> <br />
