#§ ¯³¤± 2¤¥¤±¤¢¤ ΒȁΔȁΖ <br /> To expand the reusable bag program, the County could significantly increase the <br />number of reusable bags that are distributed to residents, and increase its outreach to <br />encourage participating grocery stores to increase the financial discount for using reusable <br />bags. 2¤¬®µ¤ option <br />#§ ¯³¤± 2¤¥¤±¤¢¤ ΒȁΔȁΘ <br /> Build capacity and knowledge among local governments, and build relationships <br />with stakeholders, to bring about producer financed and managed systems for product <br />discards, including, but not restricted to, products covered by the Universal Waste Ban. <br />2¤¬®µ¤ option <br /> Provide a forum for the exchange of information regarding existing and proposed <br />EPR programs. 2¤¬®µ¤ option <br /> Provide effective leadership on EPR initiatives in California and develop a <br />prioritized list, with timelines, of future EPR programs. R¤¬®µ¤ option <br />Chair Hayducsko would like to RETAIN the strategy from the first page in regards to EPR. <br />Ms. Bell asked what we are going to do with the comments that was suggested, <br />she said that she feels that a lot of the comments are really good. She wanted to know if the <br />comments were going to be included as part of the plan. <br />Ms. Seckel unheard of to included comments into the plan and that it <br />o include it into the appendix. She said that it would be good and <br />that it would add value if people could see the chain of thoughts throughout this process. <br />Ms. Bell was hoping to have some of the comments worked into some of the language of the <br />recommendations. <br />Ms. Seckel agreed that we could include some of the comments, but may not include every <br />comment into the body.
