Saquing <br />Donna Mae Springer <br />RE: Transmitting CA -7, Draft 2, for First Reading; Proposed Amendment to <br />Section 10-15 and Section 10-16; Relating to the Public Access, Open Space, and <br />Natural Resources Preservation Fund and Maintenance Fund <br />Please find attached CA -7, Draft 2, which proposes an amendments to Section 10-15 and <br />Section 10-16, by repealing and replacing provisions for both sections of the Hawai`i <br />County Charter (2018 Edition). <br />Section 10-15(a) as provided in CA -7 was amended by adding the words "a minimum of' <br />between the words "appropriate" and "one percent", and further amended by removing <br />clause (1) and its subordinate language; both as duly approved by the Commission during <br />its meeting on December 14, 2018, prior to the Commission voting to move CA -7, as <br />amended, out of Initial Approval and forward for First Reading. <br />CA -7, Draft 2, will be placed on the January 25, 2019, meeting agenda for First Reading. <br />Should you have any questions, please contact our Commission Analyst, Jon Henricks. <br />DSA/jdh <br />Hawai`i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer <br />Comm.
