Provide a brief description of the purpose of the proposed charter amendment; include <br />a description of the issue the proposal would address: <br />The addition of the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney and the Hawaii Police Department <br />to the exceptions listed in this subsection of the Powers, Duties, and Functions of the <br />Department of Information Technology (IT) is based on the type of departmental <br />information systems that these two departments have as opposed to those that the IT <br />Department oversee as a normal part of its operations. <br />4.
